A Castle Dinner

Two are better than one alone

Ecclesiastes says.

Partnerships accomplish dreams…

if they’re wisely wed.

Having demonstrated her resolve to weather tough times without quitting, Dragonfly Denny is invited by her mentor to an elevated level of relationship – that of partnership (signifying this was no longer a one-way relationship, but rather one of reciprocity and singleness of purpose).

If we are honest and willing to walk in humility, we will see that people are gifted differently. The reality is that we need each other’s capabilities − because dreams that are of a substantial size cannot be achieved alone.  How do you feel about seeking connection with those who hold a similar vision? Have you had a mutually beneficial experience where each person contributed to a dream or goal?

The King has said we’re in a war

and needs to have our help

to beautify this broken world

with all of heaven’s wealth.

The Dragonfly King tells Denny he’s involved in a war and seeks Denny’s help because she has “a heart which holds beauty…” Name some ways we can address the ugly and broken things in life (like abuse, injustice, etc.) that would make the world a better, more “beautiful,” place. What would you personally like to do to make the world a better place?

I would like to speak words of life, words of hope, words of encouragement to the people I come in contact with every day. My prayer concerning this is that the Lord would give me specific words to say to people that bring them into closer partnership with Him.

Excellent posts. Gives great insight to the characters in Denise’s book
Dragonfly Denny, written in metaphor, enhanced with beautiful poetry, and
    lovely illustrations.
